Comptyn is the man of the weekend!

Well, Comptyn was pretty excited to turn 8 on Friday, the last day of school. He took cupcakes to school. He picked out Sister Perkins frosting of pudding (he picked cheesecake flavor), milk and cool whip. It is a very good frosting! He said, after tasting it, "Sister Perkins sure does put good recipes in this book!" (Our ward cookbook her and I actually put together!) Anyhow, Sandi, that should make you feel good! )
Here he is with his presents. He got some new books, a new Wii game and some money he is itching to spend! He also got some really fun cards from family. Thank you everyone!
So today, Comptyn got baptized. He was SO excited for this day to come! We are so proud of him to chose to be baptized. He is such a good boy, kind, thoughtful and helpful! Here he is with his daddy, who baptized and confirmed him.

Grandpa and Grandma Lords with Comptyn. Grandma gave a very nice talk on teh Holy Ghost and Grandpa said the closing prayer. Thank you guys! We are also appreciate Beth Anne ane family and Kraig and family and Boyd & Karla coming over for this day.
We then had some lunch and played some kick ball in the gym. Here (playing with sepia tones!) are Comptyn and Sammy waiting for their turn to kick.
Abram, Ryan and Luke waiting.......
Here Sammy kicked it! He was really cute because he would kick the ball and then find his cousin, Shawn. Shawn ran the bases with him. So he'd look around for him.......

And run to Shawn and grab his hand. It was really cute! Thanks Shawn for running so many bases with him. I am sure you will sleep well tonight!
Comptyn with his scriptures! Thank you Paul and Jen for the pencils for his new scriptures. He is excited. And thanks g-pa and g-ma Lords for the new hymnal. The twins will now take his and Ryan's! They like to use the 'baby books' when they sing! They won't fight now!
Today was a wonderful day! Comptyn, we love you! We are so happy you are our son!

Congratulations Comptyn! I wish my family and I could have been there! I'm glad to hear the frosting recipe is a hit. It's another frosting recipe that I've never tried! (Just filler to get that needed page in so the page numbers wouldn't be messed up.) Since it comes with such high recommendations, I'll have to give it a try!
