Bryce on his first day......Nathan started a few weeks later. They are both doing great! Bryce, we are told by his teacher, just sits back quietly and observes everything. Apparently there are a few (6) boys in that class that cause a lot of trouble and Bryce tells me about it everyday! We are grateful he is behaving well! The second day I woke Bryce up for school he sat up in bed and stretched his arms high above his head and said, "Time for another great day of school!" Nathan has a new teacher this year....Miss Julie. He LOVES school and often wears his backpack for about an hour after we drop Comptyn and Ryan off.....Nathan goes in the afternoon.

Latest "Bryce-isms"
Lake Lahontan......Fun in the sun building a sand castle and sitting around! The other day when we went to the lake we got stuck in clay! Won't be at that beach again! Anyhow, we tried and tried but nothing. Kevin's sister, Beth Anne, and her 2 kids (Melissa and Josh) were with us. So We put Melissa in the driver's seat and Kevin , Beth Anne and I decided to push. Bryce decided he wanted to help. After much sweat and straining.....Herbie the Beast broke free! So Bryce KNEW it was him that got the van out of the mud. So while we were packing up he just followed me around and said a bunch of funny things. Here are a few of them: "Yesterday I acted like a child. Today I acted like a hero!" My favorite (which I am actually going to submit to Reader's Digest) "Everyone is going to want my autograph and I don't even have one!" When we were loading up Bryce was in the back in his seat and said to Josh, "Hey Josh, you wanna come sit by the hero?" He has just LOVED being the hero and it's been funny to listen to him!
This stray cat was clawing at our back screen (as well as climbing up it) during a bad wind storm. We named her "Windy", fed her a little food and put her back outside. She kept mewing LOUD and crying. It was cold out so we brought her back inside for a little bit. Haven't seen her since!
Daniel and Sammy, however, we IN LOVE with her and were just adorable around her. Too bad momma has alergies!
