Spring Break Part 3

Went back into Logan on Wednesday. Stopped by the temple to walk around the grounds. Such a pretty temple.

The twins striking yet another pose!

Da boyz!

Da family!

We then went and had a picnic and played at a nice park.

Then we went bowling. The younger kid's reactions were hilarious! Tried to capture some on film. We discovered the ball caddie thing that you just roll your ball down and they (especially Sammy) were much happier. It was taking too long going down the alley, according to Sammy.

Next to the bowling alley was an arcade thing that you could buy tokens, play games, get tickets and turn them in for prizes.

Daniel's reptile glasses....they are kindof creepy!

We then went back up to the condo. Played on a great playground they had and...

hunted for frogs we kept hearing. No luck though! Another great and tiring day!

One more post....you are almost done! :-)

Spring Break part 2

So yes....it takes me a week to get to part 2! Between the things I HAVE to do, the things I NEED to do but don't want to do and the things I WANT to do I have a list too long. Kids are out of school in 3 weeks (we dont' get much done in the summer nad I am NOT ready, house prep wise, for htem to be home.....I am looking forward to all the fun!) May is busy with field trips and end of the year concerts. Kevin has always been busy, but added softball to his plate which takes up another 2 nights a week. So I am VERY overwhelmed to say the least! So I am doing nothing and updating the blog! :-)
So this is Monday and Tuesday of our spring break at Bear Lake. We hung out at the condo Monday morning. Just relaxed and played. This our view out our sliding doors. Just beyond the trees is Bear Lake.

That afternoon we went sledding. We found a great hill about 10 miles up into the mountains. Freshly fallen snow! After a few runs down we blazed a great trail!

Nathan even lost a tooth on a run!

Tuesday we went in Logan and did a few things....like laundry! We then went miniature golfing. Perfect time to go as there wasn't anyone else there! We even got to go thru two times for hte price of one.

Comptyn trying to blow his ball in. Daddy paid $1 for a hole-in-one.

Twins striking a pose on a rock. So cute!

We then went over to the little zoo Logan has. Mostly birds but a few other things. It was a lot of fun!

At the rate I am going....stay tuned for next week's part 3 of Spring Break!

Spring Break part 1

For Spring Break 2 weeks ago (yes I am a little slow posting!) we went to Bear Lake on teh Utah/Idaho border. A friend of ours gave us a week of her time share up there. It was SO wonderful and relaxing! We started the vacation at American Heritage Western Org, (I believe is the name). Anyhow, it was Baby Animal Day. SO CUTE! From pigs, to goats, to duckling, chicks, bunnies, turtles, etc. There was even pony rides and a train ride.

On Sunday we went to church there in Garden City. Kevin ran into a family that lived in Winnemucca YEARS ago. Small world!

When we came back to the condo we walked down to the beach. It was so cold....didn't stop the kids! They kept wading out farther and farther!

Collected these sea shells that were all over hte beach!

Sammy found a little pool of warm water on the beach. This is his AHHHHH warm water face!

Pretty soon the other kids caught on.......

And they were DRENCHED! So much for staying dry!

Here is just a part of Bear Lake as we are climbing the mountain . So pretty!

More to come!

The 7 years old's way to tell if a dog is a girl or boy

So yesterday we were walking to our van in teh Wal-Mart parking lot. We walked behind a sedan and this cocker spaniel just went BOLISTIC and barked and barked and barked in the back window at us. Certainly got our attention. Nathan then says, "That is a girl dog." I asked how he knew that. He said, "Because she was so angry".

KIDS! I thought I wasn't yelling so much around the house! :-)
